Please try to stay on topic. This thread is not about fruit machines.
What did I do wrong there? That hasn't embedded properly. Oh well. You know who I'm quoting.

I do apologise.

AS a peace, piece, hmmmm, should I go with the weak pun? Yeah. As a piece offerring, I would like to address the subject matter now and not stray off into off topic territory.

The thread asks what the hell is wrong with cake? Well to answer that, I don't like the little greeny grey moulds that start to grow on cake when it is left in the cupboard for too long. It really puts me off my cake. Also cake would tend to be full of saturated fat/trans fats and high in carbohydrates, if shop cake then synthetic carbs which are more aggressive in attacking teeth and give you erectile dysfunction.

The only cakes I eat are Madeira cake, fruit cake, chocolate cake and Jaffa cakes. I don't eat them that regularly, but I love chocolate cake. What is worng with cake?

To summarise, it can go mouldy and look fluffy which is nasty and it is unhealthy.

Balls,

JG.

Yeh, this topic was started when my Cake thread got locked. I should have been more specific in the title - but I was just so annoyed at the time, I couldnt type !!

Good answer with Chocolate cake btw. Death by Chocolate was one of the few things that could slow me down in the JPM days after a Gammon Steak or whatever (dont want to drift off-topic here with main courses)
Bollocks to all you idiots!

No, please don't dare think of going off topic with pork-based main meals that are often sumptious! (Although I'm not a fan of eggs or pineapple, so I tend to get a free sausage (matron!) or some such!)

lol

Now, an apple turnover is classed as a pastry, not a cake. BUT so is a sausage roll. what is going on??? Discuss . . . . . . . .. .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . If you are really really bored!

I had a Chorley cake the other day and I've had several since. Yet, you spread butter on them.....where is the logic!?!? :?
