plugged me new hdmi lead fom ps3 to tv as av been using normal telly lead there is sound but no pic anyone have any idea?

Damaged Lead or not plugged in properly, worse still, damaged ps3??

Can you even get a picture on a normal tv with ps3 (not sure if you have a hd tv or not with the normal telly lead comment)? Try it on a high def telly and see if that sorts it out.

Connect it normally then go to settings
Go to picture settings i think and it should say input
Choose hdmi and there u go

Its a while since i did it but it will be that i am sure

if you set it up manually it may fuck up a bit,

hold the off button for 6 seconds and it resets the video/audio settings, when you turn it back on it should automaticly set up
