i bought a ps3 second hand no instruction book anyone no on how to charge the controller i no you put the wire into it from the computer but do u have to switch the computer on whilst its plugged in?

plug it in when the ps3 is on, lights will flash whilst charging

you can hold the psbutton down for 2-3seconds to see on screen how much charge you have left

cheers bit silly that ya have to leave the computer on whilst chargin thought you could of done it on stand by.

you can charge it from anything with a usb port...
