nobody ever wins on those things.
Well team effort required. I'm about to have a late shower, muggy and sticky, so something for me to mull over in the shower.
AA = Naan.
If that's allowed, or the more obvious Aardvark (Let's play DOND and The Big Deal).
HH = Moshhop (slang) form of moshing pioneered in the early 90s circa new wave thrash trash.
WW = pawwipe - a moisturised tissue manufactured for pet cleansing purposes
II = my favourite, BonII or to pick a 'proper' plural, flagella, no that's flagellae errr hold on, cactuses, no cactii, yeah cactii please Bob.
Now in the style of The Young Ones/Bottom
KK = Makkac (monkey)
UU = Maruumbii (form of currency/musical instrument/both)
VV = lavvatorial (poor attempt, doesn't even sound convincing)
AA = Naan.

I normally just lurk in this section, but unfortunately cannot let this lie.mr lugsy wrote:i've just scrutinised a massive pile and can only find 15 different ones.original 1983 coat of arms also repeated in 2003,thistle crown,leak crown,rose crown,oak tree crown,celtic cross,dragon,3lions,lion in circle,4 bridges,small shield with crown on top plus the new large shield.I must have missed a few though.
Beautifully described, they may be, but incorrect. The 86/91 coins that everyone assumes are roses (me included in my younger days) are actually flax.
Now that you've drawn me out into the open, I'll give you:
AArdvark
skIIng
booKKeeper
and try
fisHHook
woWWee
diVVy
floWers (I have capitalised the double U in the middle, in case you don't see it)
