Muchos thanks Geoff.

Ok, here's one you might not like.

What day and what time is national pi day? (Use your head, it's not that hard! :D )

Pi is approximately 3.14159265358979

So I would guess it's the 14th March?

Or maybe Wednesday, at 1.41.

Incidentally, remember that program on c5 recently about a savant who memorised pi to about a zillion places, and learnt Icelandic in a week. Scientists did tests on him to try and find out more about him, and part of these tests involved them showing him a series of digits from pi, but changing a couple of them. Apparently he got quite upset at this!

Thanks Matt! HOw does one celebrate National Pi Day anyway?

... right, simple question (not even sure of all the answers myself)...

What are the 5 fruit machines shown in the Fruitchat banner you can see above you??? The 1st two are quite easy, but the other 3 ...

I'm fairly certain they are Subbuteo, Shark Raving Mad and Italian Job 3. The other 2 are King Kebab and Top Dog. Easy! :D

That's impressive Matt!

You should stick down that skll on your CV. Or was it you that designed the banner?

Either way, it's over to you!

I didn't design it, no. I get that ability from playing these damn machines for way too long. I always liked subbuteo, it had Alan Partridge voiceovers for some reason! A-haaaaaaaa! :D

Anyway, the next question.

There is one US state and one country in the world that start with A, but don't end in A. (Every other country/state starting with A, finishes with A by the way).

Can you name them?

Arkansas and Afghanistan!

(you just stumbled on my forte)...

I smell an Alan Partridge question brewing...

EDIT: What about Azerbaijan?

Very good your eminence. My source is obviously duff, and Azerbaijan is quite clearly a country too! Don't shoot the messenger, please! :o ops:

That's alright. Your "source" might have just forgotton about the break-up of the Soviet Union.

Right, an Alan Partidge question for you...

What are the names of Alan Partridge's children?

I think one is Fernando? I've got S1&2 on DVD and watch them a fair bit. CALL CLIFF THORBURN NOW!! :P

Trying to think of the other...

Fernando is the easy one! As he's named after the ABBA song.

His daughter isn't named after an ABBA song, though it's possible she could be named after a Blondie song!

Right, you've got a 1 in 7 chance here.

Nearly 50% of bank robberies occur on which day of the week?
