As much i'd like to say you are all wrong, someone is right. It's the bulging brain of french aristocracy....cardinal richelieu! :D

Cheers MattB.

Going back to UP's shoddily-worded Monopoly question from yesterday (well, in my eyes it was)...

Two part question..

1. Which street on the Monopoly board doesn't exist?

2. Where is the American version of Monopoly set?

Atlantic City is the correct answer.

And nobody's got the correct street yet. If only UnknownPseudonym was here, he's got the London A-Z tattoed on the insides of his eyelids.

Is it some sort of trick your eminence?

I know there is an old and new bond street....but no actual Bond street per se. Am i right?

Bond St is the collective name for Old and New Bond St (UP could probably tell me otherwise)...

It's not a trick question. The street in question doesn't exist, although there is a similar street in London with the word Great in front of it.

And darcle, it's not one of the Yellow squares (Piccadilly, Leicester Square and Coventry St)

After a bit of looking at a board, The Angel Islington sounds more like an area of london than an actualt street. Any good?

Angel Islington is definitely in London.

Right. I'll give you a clue.

Think of a famous brand of fags!

You sure. I thought it was Great Marlborough St?

(if I'm wrong then I'll give myself 40 lashes of the whip).

(by sheer coincidence, this is where Marlboro fags get their name)
