Sounds a bit like Ghostwatch, which the BBC did for Hallowe'en about 15 years ago. So scary they never repeated it (someone hung themselves after the program although the link wasn't proven).

My question is this:

The assassin of Abraham Lincoln was carried out by the nephew of whose great-great-great-grandfather?

Or to put it another way, whose great-great-great-grandfather's nephew assassinated Lincoln?
