right a words Q. can you think of a word which begins with two consecutive letters of the alphabet? (vwls aren't allowed in the first two letters)
examples GHEE, KLUTZ, STOOL (all other ST words are DQed), XYLOPHONE

good spot MNEMONIC you got pretty much all of them, GH~ works with surprisingly many, and there are one or two other KL~s klaxon, kleptomania and klystron (?)
also the last word allowable on WU is ZYZZYVAS.

Only asked this question, cos I've just read the king of his country has just taken his 14th wife and is in the middle of building a huge palace for her. He spent 1/4 of his country's national budget on a jet airplane for himself. Meanwhile, the average age of a male citizen is 32... you'd already be dead UP.

abcess is good for six but suzi dent has spotted a couple of sevens. there are quite a few sixes but only two 7s afaik.
i have disallowed aegilops because it is a scrabble word.
