You might well have done, but I got the question right  (eventually)

(how on earth did you manage to write a disseration about dice?)

.....

I'm going to ask a ridiculously easy question, just so someone else can take the reins.

What game uses 5 dice, 3 red and 2 blue?

Has anyone seen the two dice controllers on The World's Greatest Gambling Scams on Challenge TV (Sky 121) ? Took the craps tables for about $3 million .

nope.

Just in case you've never played the game, it has a quiz machine incarnation.

Harry: how did the craps scam work? did they rub the dice with something, or were they talented at throwing? or was it something else?

Nope.

This board game has 2 machine incarnations, one of which is current.

It most certainly is... the 3 red dice are used for the attacking team, and the 2 blue for the defenders.

Let's hear a UP question then....

hmm.

okay a wordy one, can you think of an english (not adopted) word with diaeresis (i.e. accents above the letters).

proper nouns are okay for this. but not Zoë, Chloë or Brontë because i've already said them.
