Damn, I am revealed as a sad Terry Pratchett fan. ;)

Okay, as I was watching it on DVD last night, here's a potentially thread-ending question for those of us who grew in in the 80s...

In Twin Peaks, who actually killed Laura Palmer? I'll accept both answers... ;)

Given that I never actually watched the TV show, I'm going to guess that she committed suicide.

Her father called Leland. Series 2 is out soon on DVD if a I recall correctly.

ps Penny Lane is soon to be renamed. Apparently it is not politically correct to have a street mnamed after a notorious slave trader.

Harry2 has it - It was her father, while possessed by "Bob".

And yeah, the second season has been due out on DVD since 2004, but various "Who owns the rights" issues have stopped it. Seems to be resolved now though. Yay! ;)

Over to you Harry...

Moby's "Go" uses the chords. Is that what you're thinking of?

moby's wasn't the one i was thinking of. this is a kind of trance anthem.
unfo a google search for falling (name of song) and trance gives you what you'd imagine.

sorry to hijack the quiz, all yours Harry.

I might be talking utter rubbish here, but isn't Moby distantly related to Herman Melville, the author of Moby Dick?

Moby (born Richard Melville Hall on September 11, 1965 in Harlem, New York, and raised in Darien, Connecticut) is an American singer, electronic musician and the name of his live band.

Moby is best known for singles like "Go", "Porcelain", "South Side" with Gwen Stefani, "We Are All Made of Stars" and "Lift Me Up". He has also released music under the names Voodoo Child, Barracuda, UHF, The Brotherhood, DJ Cake, Lopez, and Brainstorm/Mindstorm.

Moby plays keyboard, guitar, and bass guitar. He took his performing name from the novel Moby-Dick by Herman Melville, who was his great-great-granduncle.

I'm on a roll! ;)

Okay, keeping with the Moby Dick theme, which 80's movie about three girls with the same name contains a character obsessed with that novel?
