Phoenix ... a little duck and ... er..... an upside down 6

Post by Cardinal Sin »

Thank you UP. I remember a few years ago someone actually released a book with all the different words for drunk. It wasn't you was it?

Snooker question.... imagine the unlikely scenario that every single ball on the table ends up dotted around inside the D. The cue ball is then potted. Where does the player place the cue ball ?

As an avid snooker player, i've never heard of that one!

I'll go for a similar scenario. If a colours spot is held, the cueball normally goes in a direct line behind the spot. So i'll go for aas close as possible behind the brown spot.

Nope and nope. As a snooker fan, this question was once posed to the BBC panel.

Although it is a bit of a red herring...

Nope.

To be honest, I'm not going to be here for the next day, so I'll give you the answer. It's a bit of a con anyway....

The answer is that no matter what arrangement all the balls are inside the D, there will always be somewhere you can place the cue ball.

Sorry about that. Over to anyone that wants it

What have a monkey and a chainsaw got in common?

One climbs up trees, the other chops down trees.

Or maybe cos monkeys eat bananas which grow on trees which are then chopped down by chainsaws.

Or in other words, I don't know.
