Have we not had this question before? Did it not land leave the stadium and land on a freight train?

Nope. Despite their protestations, there are several more occupations more dangerous than being a fireman.

Tis indeed fishermen, which is the most dangerous job in the UK.

In America, it's actually tree-fellers who are most likely to snuff it.

ta, fairly straight forward this one, please no googling to start with as the answer is pretty damn easy to find.

Being a geologist at uni we were always concerned with time over a geological period....you'll know many such as the Jurrasic, Triassic etc.

but can anyone tell me the current Era, Period and Epoch that we are in?

there are two with very similar names, the pleistocene and the pliocene, both are wrong but very close, your actually talking about an epoch there and your previous guess was a period.

Basically it works out as there are only 4 era's, each era is broken down into a period and then the period is broken down into an epoch. we shall see how this question goes, i might just give it to whoever gets one of the three parameters. Epoch, period or era :)

Right. I'll go for Benazoic or some other word I might have imagined that might be the right answer.
