i know that it is a small trek from embankment to charing cross. does that cross the international date line?

aye Messi sort of has it- it is capital of South Sudan and therefore will become the world's newest capital city once South Sudan formalises it's independence. Although all that said it may be short lived as they will probably build a brand spanking new capital.
