South Georiga is uninhabited.

Named after someone... can't be Easter Island then (although they do claim to be the most remote).

Edit: Have just cracked and looked it up. I would never have got it! But I maintain my claim for being closest so far... ;)

Yes. It really is that small!

Despite only having 300 inhabitants, it has 2 churches, a pub, a post office, a hospital and a town hall.

If nobody gets the answer before half five, I'll tell you it.

Ive heard of it but never would of got the answer because i didnt realise it was the remotest. I studied it in A-level Geography 4 years ago!!

i had about £50k but i was profligate and idle

if it is an official figure it will have been spun by tony's croneys so i'll guess at a modest £15k
