This has to be Martin Jol ...

Dick is a referee, if memory serves me correctly? No idea about Cock, in more ways than one.

it is richard whitely (welcome to channel four etc.) but paul coia was the voiceover man; so he was the first.

bollocks. I knew that one.

Since Istenem fluffed Twice Nightly's surname and I've been on hiatus for so long, can I be so bold as to ask a question?

p.s. I was going to write the text in a particular font but my computer proved to be my undoing. An extra special Cardinal Sin point for anyone who can tell me which font I wanted to use.

Re the font how about arabica?

If the colour is cyan I have no idea re the answer.

Welcome back BTW

Cheers NM.

I don't need to know the name of the colour - but the shade is important.

The font was going to be Poor Richard as that is my name. Richard (not Poor)

cah. His Eminence crept in while i was sleeping and stole my thread. probably touched my winkie too.

as for pale blue coffee, i'm stumped. some sort of scifi reference?

Hmm, how cryptic. You're back in style, Your Eminence!

Richard Whiteley it was, and indeed Paul Coia was Mr. Voiceover with the launch night previews.

I now have much head-scratching to go through re. the blue coffee conundrum ....

Okay folks. I'll give you a clue, it's not actually coffee, but C0FFEE.

ah, hexadecimal. geeky coders use C0FFEE as a break in programming. not sure about the colour reference.

You'd find #c0ffee (the background colour of the rectangle) anywhere that displayed that RGB combination, e.g a paint program, an HTML document displayed via a browser etc.

Since it's a pastel blueish colour, Blue Mountain being a Jamaican coffee, i'll say Jamaica. If indeed you were looking for a country. That's my tangential thinking done for the day.

Whatever happened to Paul Coia and his attractive wife Debbie Greenwood. Saw them once at a charity dinner. What was that quiz he used to do ?
