Well that question went down like the proverbial cold cup of sick.
The answer was "GHOTI", which is also the word used to demonstrate how irregular the English language can be (e.g. GHOTI could be pronounced FISH based on the way the letters are pronounced in other words).

Aye sorry Weyland. I just thought you weren't about. I'm not normally in the business of giving away things that aren't even mine...
Anyway, fielding positions? Jeezo. Cricket (and boxing) is the reason I never choose SPORT on quiz machines.
Right. I'll guess bowler, wicket keeper and silly mid-off (just cos it's got a silly name).

or somewhere in the covers
i do like cricket but wasn't aware that some positions are mandatory. with that in mind and in honour of ambiguous the mint questions i'll guess a combination of the above.
