What is unusual about the river in Birmingham City Centre, and by what name is it commonly referred to?

Is that the one where they had the insane idea of building an artificial beach right under Spaghetti Junction?

Istenem pretty much has it, "The River" is the official name of the man made fountain/water feature outside of Birmingham town hall.

'The Floozie in the Jacuzzi' is the name by which it is much more commonly referred to.

Over to you.
