I've had to find a web-based anagram solver to find the answer - which I won't post because it would be cheating - and it is a difficult word. I'm not confident I know what it means, either!
You may have to post a different anagram EWQ.

just done the same as Dz and i've never seen that word before. bit tricky mate, as Dz suggests how about a new anagram?

Fine, the answer was ANISOTROPIC, which was a word that I picked at random from my PhD abstract... someone else can have a go.
