DOND series

I'm probably going to offend people here - but i'm actually warming to these DOND range of machines.
Friday i hit a £25 JP on cash countdown on the 4 reeler. Had a go all the way today on a beat the banker which did £50, a random £12 from what's in your box yesterday, and £35 from a power 5 yesterday.
I'd never seen it before....but played it quickly while in MK, and got a power bonus, which gave the power 5. If anyone doesn't know, basically you just play the DOND game but only with the best 5 boxes (£10, £15, £20, £35, MS). I had £20 and £35 left, which resulted in a £26 offer. No dealed and got my £35 prize.
I know you'll probably say it's only because you've had a bit of recent luck. Sure i have, and sometimes i lose on them. Maybe i'm getting lucky, but i seem to do ok from them most of the time i play. The BTB one is good as anything from feature 2 upwards is usually £5. WIYB is also decent on 50p, as is the power 5. I dislike the 4 reeler the most, simply due to the amount of ? marks you get with lose.
Any other thoughts? Or is it loony bin time for Matt?

i have to say also i like these if there is a red gaming and 1 of these in a pub i will always play it to see how it goes!! played the power of 5 1st time yest- didnt really get the whole thing with the boxes at top?? just played it the normal way and got the £35 so was happy!!
Also played fnc which is always humped and never really shows only 1st board arb2 so thot i will force..... straight to top for £35 then thot i will reforce but was going green so didnt really bother took a few wins and had 50ish in bank then arb1 board, hit the green feature and then we high on a 3 for the top and it went for 70! 120quid out off 40ish was well chuffed!

i had a go all the way on one of the DOND [can't remember which one] a couple of weeks back, it went £33 on mega streak and after playing a few boards after too see if it was rolling i walked £28 up. i don't mind going for boards just too try and nick 3-4 quid, and always a chance of a spawny IM as i found out

agreed on cash code red, had a few £21's from it myself...
These can be ok, but if you catch them after someones just had the pot/£20+ on the "DOND game", they will just burn you for £25 giving dead boards all the way... saying that, I often play the odd board here and there on all the DOND series' and you occasionly get a touch...

There is always a guranteed profit on the 4 reeler DOND if you know what you are doing. The other Dond series im unsure of. I mean i have played them and 99% of the time i make on them but have never forced them.
These BGFs are always good for a quick 3 -7 quid profit. Occasionally you can get stung, just like any other m/c.

Had a nice result on the 4 reeler the weekend, first £ in gave feature killed forth spin, tried another £ and got another feature for a GATW, took MS for £60 and a SS a few featues later for £15 so a good £65 profit. On the other hand though I have put £60 in a WIYB to only get 4 features

It then gave a flat £25 MS on the fifth which killed it.

I usually play the power 5 i think (one with the dial symbol on reel 3) and have had a few good results including back to back MS on numerous occasions.
But sometimes they can be a right arse even for a board which does you second gamble.
I don't even bother with the 4 reelers ... can't be doing with ? dead first spin :x

Unfortunately, I don't...

And those so many of these near me - they're crowding out all my good stuff

Not that loony. I agree with the poster who says he dabbles for a touch. Not seen Power 5 or walk of Wealth or Dream factory yet.
There is one of the series that is my favourite new machine of the moment. 4 reeler is ok and BTB is average but seems to be reasonably nice in a local bowling alley. Have had GATW a couple of times. Only the one off flasher for a £40ish MS though ;(
Ages since I've had the big bad boy back to back £60+MS plus flash for £33+MS. Ages. Would be nice to get one soon. Hint hint lady luck. NICE TO GET ONE OF THOSE SOON PLEASE.
I want you to get a lot of money.
You have won it is your money now.
WIzzigig is my favourite.

£5 JP 4 reeler is also great for quick profit if you know what your doing. ive had these streak for £50+ a few times with 'go all the way' board after boards.

Basic tip which most people miss. On the 4 reeler, if you are on the super board, and you are on cash, features, streak boxes etc and are on a 11/ 2 then gamble it. Yes you will lose a box and put straight back on to the normal board ('Start'). You can then gamble back up to the super board on the 12/1.
Note.. Ive noticed that if you don't gamble straight away then after about 5 seconds you will not be able to gamble back up to the super board.
It sounds very basic but i gurantee many people miss this sly gamble.

Well I've only ever played the 4 reeler ages ago but I don't get why you would want to gamble to get off the board, then get straight back on?

your gambling for extra cash or features if it loses the hi-lo you get back to the super board so you cant lose!
