Saw a lady put 200 in one of these so i thought i would play it. What a great decision that was!

Anyways, end up putting 600 in for the reel king to drop down four, which went for 160! Carried on playing it and managed to get back 450 on it. I had been on it for 3 hours and it was just boring me so i got off it.

Was playing on 2 pound a spin, but was just sucking and sucking. Mnaged to get over to Ladbrokes very quickly and between 6 and half 6 (closing) i make 160 on the hi roller roulette. So after about 6 hours play, some nervous times i earn 10 quid! YAY!!!!

Anyone else played this 500 pounder? Its the one which when it tings 5 times as the 5 reels come down it brnigs down some reel kings which spin in wins.

Wouldnt EVER touch a random £500 machine OR video roulette, can take DAYS of profit away in just minutes, quicker than any Red,

I'll alwys have a £10er on this one.

Never really won anything big on it for a year then just befoe Xmas I stick £5 in on £1 a go, get the dings, get £20. Thast comes out, £5 more in for dings again and £25. I change it to £2 a go and on the 4th spin I get a screen of JPs. Got me phone out to tkae a pic and my hands were shaking, crazy

5 days later, me and a mate were chasing a £500 gold pot on a rainbow riches, and doing really bad. About £450 down. 1 of the quds wouldn't go in so trying reel king, it took it, £1 a go, dings, 4 men £250! Put £20 of those into the links max million to RR and it drops the pots and the £500 comes out. We were £600 down on RR but came away £180 up each. That was Xmas over and was just over £1200 up. Being self employed with no holiday pay, helped to say the least.

Lastly, and my fav. A couple of regulars in my local arcade were chucking notes at it like no tomorrow. 5 mins til closing they come over to me and say they've blown £800 in it and tell me to try it. Again, my £10 in (only cause I was £40 up, wouldn't otherwise) and ding ding ding ding ding........ all the reels turn around and the machine takes about 5 mins to clock up to £500. The only 5 machine on in the entire arcade, all the staff watching, fucking big grin on my face Haven't played it since too, was about a month ago now.

On the flip side, going 3 ways with a couple of mates, we lost about £700 in it a year or so ago.

Yeah he brang down four reels twice but never all 5! Done my head in. I have been quite lucky on these in the past, but this was my only bad experience on these and to be fair, has put me completely off them!!

Just 'cos £200 has gone in it, doesn't mean you'll do any better!

Yeah, do remember they are random, just as worth going on it after it has paid 17 JPs in a row as when someone has lost £800.

I've had four 500s now i think, but have lost more than my fair share in my time too, dont play these anymore

You might lol. After that last £500 (about 6 weeks ago), not touched one since.

You've done well mate! I've never played these, but I can't begin to imagine the temptation once you'ver had a big win to keep pumping the money in...

You are right, I could easily walk up to it today and blow £10 or £20. I might just have £10 in if i'm doing well by the end of the day

Saying that, the last 3 times I went I could get on it even if I wanted too. It's probably that arcades most played one.

ive only ever had one 500 quid jackpot on an s16, it was astras Megaslot machine, about 2 years ago after only about a tenner. I still only put a few quid in them these days to try my luck but completely stupid sticking in hundreds trying to chase a random jackpot

They didnt ruin his life, he did, no self control is a gamblers worst enemy. The machine didnt force his money out of his pocket and into it , he put it in so he's got noone to blame but hiself. stupid really sticking in all that money for only 500 which is nothing compared to what u have alreayd lost
