Grandmaster Cash

For those who haven't encountered one yet, it's a Gold Rush clone, strangely under the QPS banner (with a 'copyright BETCOM 2009' note on it).

25p/50p/£1 stake options; Identical layout to Gold Rush/Knockout etc, except the cash options at the bottom-right include a £25 fruit (a picture of some speakers going 'boom! boom!'), then going to £50 and £70, and stopping there (so SSS can only hit a maximum of £70, not the top feature).

The position 4 bonus is different: most bonuses result in either Boost, Trail Gamble (which NEVER puts you into the cash values), or Triple Shot (where you get pseudo-shots at furthering your position on the 1-8 trail and into the cash). The usual Double Up, Stop That Trail, Stop Those Reels, Numbers In View, Skill Stop and Super Skill Stop are all still there.

Gameplay identical to GR, but the top feature - even when red - can stop on an odd amount if it continues past £70 - it happily gives £80 tops (VERY annoying the first time it happens and you're sure you've got £140 coming your way). The Cash Shots are slightly different too - there's a £7.50+rpt in there, with £10, £20 and then £70.

The Big Money symbols are records; these open a different sort of BM feature, where you get an amount in a hidden box (DOND-style) between £1 - £20 which can either be won alone, doubled or trebled depending on whether you had 3, 4 or 5 records when you took the feature. So no JP to be had from that, then.

The equivalent of Swinging Streak/Mining Mayhem/Jack Potter/Evil Streak on this one is called Rock DJ. The inner Cashpot arrangement is different too; it's music-themed so instead of landing on cash amounts, you land on Play (adds small amounts of cash), Fast Forward (adds larger amounts), Rewind (deducts cash - yes, you can lose cash...) Shuffle (changes the amount in the cashpot to something completely different - you could have £2.40 suddenly becoming £48.10 for example) and Stop (which is the arrow out).

The two I've seen so far both have the old £75 bank limit so a £140 top gets fired out in one loud shower - not great in a quiet pub.

Results so far haven't been too bad - takes a long time to drag out the top feature because of the cashpot going up AND down - people I've observed have gotten bored and taken a feature instead, which seems good from the point of view of it refilling quickly.

Anyhoo, don't say I didn't warn you when you get the top feature RED and it stops on £80 ...

Sounds good, never been a massive fan of GR but this doesn't sound too bad.
One question though, who the hell are Betcom?!

oops aye you is right.

Having looked - Quid Vicious is a Juggling Jp's style super pot rather than the 3 levelled one on Gold\Rush\Money Magic. Otherwise same style.
