Juice machine rip....
Juice machine rip....
off.
Watched a mate playing one of these last night, was playing the new monopoly game (easy street or something like it).
playing on 50p a spin, anyway he's going round the board and get's the top 2 street cards lit, and gets a mega streak for a flat £35 which I thought was a bit tight as the Jackpot symbols are still at £70 even on 50p stake.
Then the next board gets a mega streak again, roll's in lots of £10 and £20 wins to give £70, then credit break and another final spin of the streak was jackpot symbols!
result! he thinks £140, but no his bank is only £70!
It was as if upon achieving a £70 win is shows the JP symbols to celebrate it, but still very misleading

That game really is crap though. How much did he put in for that?from what i remember at some point it shuffles the cards up (whatever you have landed on) and selects 3 at random and then gives a DOND offer which you can refuse or accept? if you refuse it just gives you a card!<sic> invariably its from the brown set!
I played one on there with different coloured sevens - can;t remember the name- god it was boring! eventually got £35 off holding two red sevens 3 times I think.
DOND is not bad on there though - better than it's standalone cousin - better wins of COB generally.
Are all the games compensated against one another? and if someone says "No" please can they give me a slight shred of proof they are not?
Thanks
And yes this thread title is a good one!

Think he was about £40 into it by the time I got thereFirefox wrote:How much did he put in for that?
He must have been lucky or the machine was gagging, as that's how he got both the streaks - via the shuffle+pickFirefox wrote:from what i remember at some point it shuffles the cards up (whatever you have landed on) and selects 3 at random and then gives a DOND offer which you can refuse or accept? if you refuse it just gives you a card!<sic> invariably its from the brown set!
Odd thing is I saw / heard at least £100 come out of it earlier via the snakes game, but when I checked the float it was only £10 off, and it hadn't been played since.
and I know the landlady does a daily refill - normally around 10 pm
I refuse to play Easy Street after my experience a few weeks ago. I put about £30 in on £1/spin and 2 red houses held for the 3rd time for £20... into the feature....£20 into the cashpot....."right" I thought "2 spins then collect the £2x.xx cashpot".......1st spin, 7 to community chest.....bankrupt!
Never again.
The DOND only got updated on my terminal last week and I havent seen a stand alone CYBTB but im assuming the £1 gold game isnt on the stand alone? When playing £1/spin everything is gold with cash it means 1 gaurenteed repeat and "supposedly" features are better then red. I only put about £10 in on £1/spin a COB went to turbo gamble and it started on £4, on red it start on £5! It went straight down to £0..... so I went straight down to £50p/spin.
What really pissed me off about the DOND was the top cash amount didnt change on £1/spin on all the other juice games the top two before the £70 double on £1 but on DOND it still goes £15/£25 then the £70. No £40 COBs here!!
As for the compensated games, before the £70 j/p came in, I was told the hopper held £400something. A manager told me that, wether there is a shred of truth in it is a different story..................

Had exactly the same but I was £40/50 in and started at £1 - then dead!HornyNick wrote:I put about £30 in on £1/spin and 2 red houses held for the 3rd time for £20... into the feature....£20 into the cashpot....."right" I thought "2 spins then collect the £2x.xx cashpot".......1st spin, 7 to community chest.....bankrupt!
It's not had a penny from me since.
My own fault really, shouldn't be playing them in the 1st place but it's Hobson's choice in my local as they got 3 of the fe*kers
My local has a juice which I'll admit sometimes I do find it hard to resist playing ops:
That monopoly easy street is a right screw - It quite often gives the hotels for £40 on £1 play but will always go straight to lose!! I've had it once now I always collect straight away ... Plenty of other people moan about it in the pub.
DOND CYBTB at £1 is completely pointless due to the guaranteed repeat it never offers any decent wins so your forced to constantly collect £3/4/5 repeater if offered and the machine just plays to percentage and whittles your money away slowly - Watched some lad do loads in it the other week just going round in circles while his money slowly disapeared.
They hold £450 IFIRK watched the landlord have to refill it a few times - never tried to key it but with 6 different games its not going to mean much anyway

Do they even use the standard refill keys? Cant say I ever looked while sober, but didnt notice a regular lock.LewisM14 wrote: They hold £450 IFIRK watched the landlord have to refill it a few times - never tried to key it but with 6 different games its not going to mean much anyway

I've questioned the Mega Steak for £35 issue with someone who should know ... and his reply was "Yeah, it doesnt always give £70.. it adds to the excitement"...
My reply - "No, thats just shit..." .. glad to see that i'm not the only stupid person in the world!!
Mega Streak on a £70 game, when forced on you, should be £70. End of. Full stop.
There are a number of games on the Juice cabinet that aren't the best... some strange ideas over at Games Media. That said, there are some nice ideas on there too, but most are copies of other games...

TRAPPED!
Have you looked at the casino type games?
£1a spin - but you can play on mega spin with a 1 in 6 chance of a spin.
So basically playing at £6 a spin for a £70 Jpot. Althogh is you do this, the jpo goes from £70 to £70 + repeat to mega streak to Hyper streak! as you increase cost per spin.
How quick could you do a ton on £1 mega spin on one of these? - especially if someone just had a £140/£210 hyper streak.
Thats not pub play - thats full on hardcore casino style gambling.

Its an absolute joke...
The award card is fantastic cos all the awards become stupidly high values... But in effect, all you ever get are the 3 of a kind mystery win symbols for £4, £5, or £6... So in effect, its £6 per spin for no more than £6 back unless you're lucky enough to hit one of the features, or stupid enough to gamble 50/50 to increase your win by the fantastic [sarcasm] sum of £1.
I lost over £170 in about 20 minutes on this horrendous bag of shit Monopoly Property Tycoon (which is an EXACT, yet somehow poorer copy of the DOND game BFG did).
If Juice want us to play video fruit machines, maybe they should make them fun to play, stop paying god knows how much for licences, and actually do some good games for once!
That said, not all of the games on their are dross...
The ones they haven't fixed yet are very profitable....

That property tycoon game is terrible on that £1 a go mega game. As you say it only ever gives that mystery win which gives £4-10. Amazingly it actually often goes £30+ without spinning the reels, although most spins of the reels do give that crappy mystery win.
A similar game on there is egyptian gold, which after initially thinking it was forcable on that scrolls gamble thing, I changed my mind after a few losses. The 50/50 gamble thing is certainly alot nicer on this than the monopoly one though, that's for sure, even though they are clones of each other.

i played my first juice friday. Mixed views. I playing the monopoly hot property style. It kept giving me the feature. First time i went till end and i had £28 in my box so i dealt but for some reason dispite dealing my cashpot said nothing. Next go i got 5 symbols for feature. Then i got to 1p and ms so i dealt at £18 as my mates were leaving. Sods law i had ms in my box. Now by sounds of it i mighg have only gotten £35 but ill never know. Still i win back what i put in. Does anyone know if 5 symols is a good sign? Not sure if it means its gonna drop a ms? Still i wont be playing a juice anytime soon.
