Has anybody EVER had a progressive pot on a Ladbrokes slot?

Post by mrdave »

I'm talking on Rainbow Riches, or the newer ones like Price is Right, Grand Casino or Rocky...

The reason I ask is just because, although a fairly regular player, mostly on rainbow riches, I've NEVER had a pot at all on any of these games, in ANY Ladbrokes shop. And I know its easy for them to re-set the pots so it looks like someone has won. So after putting through god knows how much money since they come out I'm starting to think. (Better late than never I hear some of you think!!)

More worrying is that none of the staff I've asked have ever seen a pot win on ANY of the games! Yet on the normal arcade version, I've at least had the odd few pot wins.

So someone put my mind at rest that it is at least possible to win these, please!!

I've never seen a pot on any bookies FOBT, but I don't frequent them places too much. When I was going in for my £35 suspects, I often checked the POG (RR) pots and on two of the grey terminals, they were reset every day and on the black terminal they built up. Gold got to £500 and is STILL at £500 to this day AFAIK. In about 9 months of play, NO gold pots have been won, maybe a silver, couple of bronze perhaps.
Good job I didn't fookin' play it out for gold back in November isn't it? I'd have had to remortgage Houventry.

THAT shows you HOW BAD AND FILTHY these DIRTY SMELLY POOEY FART STINKING machines really are. Now I'm contagified by the infectious buddylove4000 as much as the next person and often find myself saying 'Get the **** in there' far more than I should. "' 'av that! " - guilty pleasures. HOWEVER one would think that his playing is all PLINKOS and POTS and PYRAMIDS and ALL THE OTHER RARE AS ROCKING HORSE POOP STUFF.

Let me tell you the reality. The % might be 92% BUT much of that is paid in £1 wins. Also each press if costing you 8p when on a conventional 10p play £5 jackpot machine at a horrendous 70%, you're paying 3p.
Disregard the jackpot, it's so very rare, you should bank on it not coming up.

My advice is DO NOT PLAY RANDOM JUNK.

If you MUST absolutely MUST play these rancid pieces of steaming turds than flap a decent amount on a single on roulette and expect to lose or get the quickest £x00 you'll ever make and trot along.

That is today's sermon.

Play them for fun, but don't play them for pots and if you find pushing screens fun then you may as well try CHESSMASTER DS on the Nintendo DS, fantastic stuff, can anyone beat Chessmater or even Josh? I can beat a few of the lower level harder players, but I am still yet to beat the CHESSMASTER.

If you don't play chess, then Chinatown Wars is worth a look as well.

had a few golds from ladbrokes - usually shitty values in the sub £350 range. Several silvers and a gaggle of bronzes. But then, I've experimented a fair bit with these, so probably played them more than most.
