Every Sat is fair enough though maybe there should be a limit on how much you bet than how often.

I mean would lots of little bets be better than one £100 bet once a week? I think you should set a limit for the week and place all your bets on a sat for the coming week.

yeh ive had a similiar problem with the missus, cant fault her for what she's saying really , my missus will see me lose say £40 on a couple of bets and she'll say , we could of went for a meal with that or , you could of bought that t-shirt you wanted , she has a point but its my money , we pay the bills equally and buy whatever for the house , then she has the rest of her wages and i have mine which is more or less the same so there's no problem there. so we came to an agreement also.

very good call nudges mate, because if you thought she was out of oder for having a go at you, it would be easy for you to think , right im gonna bet more just to make a point, then that could of put you on a very slippy slope , if you know what i mean

yeah as i said ive got an 8 month old son and a girlfriend i love and if i thought gambling would jeopordise that in the slightest i know what my choice would be but i will be betting once a week maybe only £20 because its something i like doing cos she likes to go out and socialise so i get my litle perk of gambling once a week fair deal if you ask me........

Fair play mate, Your girlfriends sound a bit like my mum.. 'you spend too much at the betting shop'
I think Pubs/Pints/Fruit Machines/Pool etc drop the finances! but I DO save a fair bit of £££ even if she doesn't think so..

Good luck nudges, keep the stakes lower, and you ahould have less to worry about

'the racing game is bent' - triggered a good one I remember. Tony Collins had 3 horses running on a Bank Holiday, one of them being at Cartmel. The bets went on, 3 doubles and a treble. Two of the horses were then pulled out, leaving the one horse to run at Cartmel. That meant that 2 of the doubles became a single, as did the treble. On the way there, the horse was switched with a similar looking horse which happened to be a ringer, and it continued onto Cartmel. As this was before the internet and such, and with Cartmel not being a major track, the only way the bookies could try and stop it was to send someone down to back it at the course, lowering the S.P. Of course, with it being bank holiday, the guy that was sent never made, and the horse romped it. He was found out, but plenty made their money. Just shows you if you're in the know...
