Does anyone know what happens if you bet on betfair for first goalscorer/scorecast, and the player does not get on the pitch/team sheet?
Is the bet void like in the bookies? (I know a scorecast in the bookies goes to correct score but obviously this can't happen on betfair)
Just been looking at the Man city v Liverpool game, and there is about £50 worth of bets available to lay on Silva scorecasts, yet hes not even on the bench.

Who will score the first goal in this match AND what will be the Correct Score? The winning selection must have both the correct first goalscorer AND the correct score. All bets apply to 90 minutes, plus any injury time. Extra time and penalties are not included. If a player comes on after a goal has been scored or does not take part in the game, all bets involving that player will be voided. Own goals do not count for the first goalscorer part of the Scorecast, but do count towards the correct score. If the only goals in the match are own goals, all bets on the market will be voided. If the match is abandoned after a goal has been scored, all bets on the market will be voided. In any dispute over the goalscorer, Subsequent appeals or rulings will not be considered. This market will be suspended at kick-off.

Every time you choose a market, there's a rules tab on the right hand side of the page.

A few years ago there was a website that advised people to make easy money by laying all the squad players on each side in a football match to be first goalscorer ( Carling Cup Final?? ). It went belly up because they didn't realise that the winner got paid out and most of the non runners got their money back.
