As you get older you get more critical?

Lesson of the day - Don't bet on Amateur Rider races, they are a lottery..

1st - Hollymount King.. soon led and clear, reduced lead before straight, clear again from 2f out, reduced lead inside final furlong, just held on touched 16/1

(how the feck this thing won is beyond me, perhaps it was because of the useless twats behind..)

2nd) No Trimmings - chased leaders, moderate 6th before straight, moderate 4th under 2f out, closed in 2nd inside final furlong, stayed on well, just failed touched 13/2

first of all, its didn't 'chase' the leaders.. It sat in a good spot behind them, no push alongs at all..
Secondly (and most importantly) He (or her, dunno) pushed far too late.. All looks good when your jockey is motionless and everyone else (including the front runner) is hard at work, but the fact is, you should of won by a street. 1) You useless bastard 2) you deserve arthritus.. Or aids... Cvnt
