newcastle promotion

Post by ob »

Okay people here's a tip, get with sky bets 5/4 on newcastle being promoted this season, I can't see that price lasting, where other bookies are odds on. If that aint a good bet I don't know what is.

I know I'm biased as a toon fan, but that's gotta be a huge price surely. Either they finish 1st or 2nd, which is a very good chance, or the playoffs for the lottery.

second worse team in the league is a bit harsh and ipswich will be nowhere near the dropzone come may,but obviously roy keane is lacking the skills required to drive a tractor at the moment. I agree with ob here ,and cannot feasibly see the toon not making an automatic promotion place at the first attempt. You gotta give credit to the caretakers who've done what legends failed miserably to do and get the team back in shape.

They've took that price off now, betfair has it trading at 1.8/1.98 (albeit not much liquidity), so you can see that 5/4 was a MASSIVE price.

Might come back who knows, they've took the market down at the moment, keep your eyes peeled...

£375, which was the maximum for me, annoyingly, when the normal max is £1500, would have done that on it if I could have.

The problem with bets like this is the cash is tied up for so long.

Well this is only a problem for people without a healthy bank balance!

Lol well I wouldnt bet £350 on it 7 or 8 games in id of done it before the season started or when they hit a bad run which inevitably will happen.

we'll see, I'm not saying its a banker, anything at over evens is never a banker, but I just think it represents a good price.

Having a good run at the minute are we? Nice fat positive goal difference there as well. Even had to kill the Sky Blues which was a bit naughty.
