Day 3 'traditional' scores and final standings:
Keno 10+6+1+0+0+10+0 = 27+84 = 111
Master of Games 0+6+6+0+0+3+0 = 15+72 = 87
Harry 0+1+10+0+0+10+0 = 21+65 = 86
Northern Monkey 3+6+1+0+2+0+0 = 12 + 59 = 71
Ruler of The World 0+3+1+3+0+0+1 = 8 + 47 = 55

I guess we can have 2 competitions running at once, KENO is Champion Tipster, HARRY is Champion Gambler.

After all my hard work, including correcting the monumental cock up, I would appreciate some feedback from you all.

I think we should run these competitions every time, Champion Tipster AND Champion Gambler.

I'm open to any suggestions of how to improve either or both and hope we will get more players next time which will be Newmarket for the Guineas meeting, York's Dante meeting, Chester, Epsom, then Royal Ascot - we will also do Glorious Goodwood and Doncaster's St. Leger meeting.

My excuses? Literally, I was 50-50 on Oscar Time and Many Clouds - I went for the lower weight over the far classier horse - hindsight is a lovely thing!

I hope you all enjoyed it, at least everyone stood a chance in Champion Gambler almost throughout.

Great performance Harry! You looked out of sorts for the last few comps and after the first day of this I was wondering why you bother! Starting to wonder that about myself these days but its not so bad for me in the real betting.

I was just so gutted when Many Clouds won, I would have snatched the Champion Gambler's Crown with just 3 winners! I feel so daft for backing a horse which I honestly believed would just get around (which he did) and hope that the fancied ones just cocked up somehow. But I wouldn't have deserved to win, it would have been a hollow victory. In truth, I fancied 2 horses strongly and I did a double on them but still lost even though both won! How? Because I backed Saphir Du Rheu for the Liverpool Hurdle which I'm sure he would have won but they took him out of that and he won that chase yesterday instead! I think ante post rules should be illegal - I've been stitched up by them so many times before!

Yep good comp thanks Ruler. If truly champion gambler, I would suggest allowing EW selections as there is just as much skill in identifying value in long priced placed horses as deciding staking patterns for shorter priced favourites etc. I know it makes the admin more complicated but that's my view. Look forward to the next one.
