That doesn't add up. You would be risking £50 to win 1/12 of £50. ie about £4.

When you are in a hole stop digging. You have just contradicted your first post. You would have to risk £6600 to win £600 at 12.0.

I think he meant he laid Ukraine at 12's to win £50. So he didn't lose his £600.

Either that or he's a dick.

Basically he's cocked up trying to be clever. To make 600 quid you have to have the funds in your account to cover it if it loses, which harry has already pointed out. Whoops.

Er, they weren't. Think some people have some brain to untwist here on how betfair works.

So your saying you actually was risking 600 to win 50 but chose to say your risking 600 to win 600.

Its easier when you actually say what your bet was in the first place?
E.g:

England v Ukraine : Result 2-1
Market Under/Over - Goals (2.5)
Selection BACK Over (2.5)
Bet Details
Requested Odds 2.17
Matched Odds 2.17
Matched £22.62
Outcome Win
Profit £26.46

Market Half-Time/Full-Time
Selection BACK England - England
Requested Odds 2.17
Matched Odds 2.17
Matched £10.00
Outcome Win
Profit £11.70

Market First Goal Scorer
Selection BACK Wayne Rooney
Bet Details
Requested Odds 6
Matched Odds 6
Matched £5.00
Outcome Lose
Loss -£5.00

Didn't really get lucky, ukraine were never going to win?! If you were laying them the draw was still the same profit for you?

Saying that a 1/12 bet on that doesn't sound like something I'd rush to stack on to.... and I have been known to stack onto odds things in the past (although not for years now tbh!).

Are you saying you laid Ukraine at 12's (£600 to £50) does this mean 12/1?

If so the matched odds would be 13.0 as in Joes example above. They were never more than 12.0 before the start of the game.

To clear up any confusion just post a copy of your bet from your transaction history. The way you have written the post is inconclusive.

Maverick, why do you insist on putting a full stop in between each word?
