Two games that come to mind are the New Family Fortunes and DnD Big Reds. Does anyone else feel cheated playing these games? and are there any more you can warn me about.

Punters seem to like both of these games. Fuck knows why. Maybe it's because they're so used to winning fuck all so 3p on Big Reds feels like a result.
Personally I'd rather rip my own head off and shit down my throat.

The only reason I would ever have for playing Big Reds is in a desperate attempt to get to games hidden in the backwaters of the Open menu system. It beggars belief that this piece of rubbish is classed as an SWP (it's quite obviously not.)

hang on a minute, I actually find big reds quite fair on £1 a go. You always get the game, and I actually find its a fair chance of the £4/10 box, ie. I've had it plenty. Unlike other such games as no questions DOND which rigs the end game so you never get a good box, yet if you deal, it always "says" your box was something big.
Considering most of these games are on a 30% payout, I have to consider big reds must be on a higher payout than this, given its gameplay. I know its not much use to skillfull players, but it is a fairer game to the normal player.

Big Reds is obviously much 'fairer' than most games, since the level of skill required is so minimal, any ape can win.
You don't mean 'fairer' - you mean 'easier'.

The biggest con is you can't even collect your fecking prize. And since it doesn't even take coppers, prizes between 1p and 4p are an irrelevance.
Reminds me of the 250 quid fruit machine (Elvis - only a couple of years old) that has 40p and 80p wins which come in all the time that you can't even collect.

This is exactly what i was talking about.
The games that give you these sort of winnings will payout less to the player than the set 30%.

I played it for 12 goes on the £1 game last weekend. Not because I'd taken leave of my senses but as a futile attempt to get round the Open's dodgy non-payout mechanism by a bit of internal 'money-laundering' - if you win a biggish win on something the Opens are designed it seems to only pay out a certain amount and then to plonk the rest of your win in credits. As the machine in question refused to pay out the £8 or so I won on the Big Reds even after the said money-laundering I suspected that it didn't actually contain the amount I was owed and rather than erroring it was hoping that I would give up and leave, which I did. The 12 spins on Big Reds were, needless to say, utterly thrilling...

its called big reds as it will leave you with a big hole in your pocket and in the red. There are many games that some people find good others find bad, surely this game is universally detested.

If you add on the end of that "by all PLAYERS" I'd agree. You wouldn't believe howw much money ordinary punters are prepared to throw at it. Think about it: Only three questions? (Mind you the locals only have a 50% success rate on that part of the game.)
