hi, have recently seen this new game on JPM mahcines (i think) called shooting stars in which you have to get the name of the celebrity based on the photo they provide. Has anybody else seen this game and thinks it is beatable?

Is it any good, Jpm's games have been pretty poor lately.

That's quite an old game. It provides mild amusement and entertainment for groups of students but is about 100th on the list of games to look for if you want to take things a bit more seriously - it's one of the multitude of games where winning £1 is relatively simple but after that you've got no chance of any decent prize, other than if the game has a sudden fit of generosity after taking 100+ losing credits.

So you have had success with this particular game dmac? I am in the process of learning names alphabetically with a flash card recognition database I am compiling. I have 1500+ catalogued so far.

can you tell me, do you think it is worth me spending time learning the categories as I am doing or is it likely to be a waste of time? just want to know from somebody who has played it.. I don't need to know exactly how well you have done.

if you want to learn a game, i'd say you are better off learning one with better/quicker payoffs. PMP is the same game but much more playable. also £1 hex appeal is paying 800% at the moment.

As someone who rarely plays quiz machines, I have noticed hex appeal is super generous on £1 a go, the £2/4 prizes are very close to the starting positions, I doubt this will last, but fairplay to them for allowing people to win in the short run!
