yesterday watching challenge tv (bullseye) yr 1991. Two competitors called Mark and Dean who when asked what they do said played quiz machines professionally and 'spent last 4 months living in a vauxhall' (couldnt be that good then). Lived presumably at / near Wakefield as thats where the charity money went. Got to the final ,gambled lost.Unfortunately would have won a car and not a speedboat.

highlight of programme when darts thrower threw 180 eeeighty and wife answered question what boat was used by sir francis chichester to sail around the world - her answer Golden Hind!!!!

does anybody know them? where are they now and have they ditched the identical haircuts?

The "Star" prize was only revealed AFTER the gamble. It tended to be the car only if you lost :)

Quizard: That sounds like a technique employed in a lot of the quizzers we play! :)

Saw this on Challenge a little while ago. They looked completely gutted when they lost at the end!
