Does anyone 'do' Norwich on here?

I expect this thread to be bigger than the HLS thread.

On previous visits to Norwich (for work and/or the footie rather than machines as such, though I've always found time to dabble), I've found it takes so flippin' long to get there that by the time you arrive you've forgotten every trivial fact you ever knew, other than which football club once played at The Nest!

There used to be a brilliant player in Norwich. Real specialist though, so he wouldn't affect most games.

I've been to Norwich a few times; the longest drive to "nowhere" that I have ever been on.
Alan Partridge, Norwich FM, Ironic Comedy, says it all....
etc etc etc
Funnily enough, I've never actually met anybody that claims to be from Norwich, but then who would?

I heard about this years ago--what happened to him?

I think if my memory is right --the elite player had his winnings confiscated by the police, per London contact unless memory is playing tricks on me(not that he was doing anything wrong).

I don't remember that. All his big wins were paid by cheque. That was his speciality...............

I'm intrigued. Was this a "Brewis" scenario, i.e. deliberately winning multiple JPs on a single game then claiming the total winnings as a cheque from the machine company, or JPs from the old connected Millionaire games from the arcades, or something else entirely?

I claim i'm from here, i've been all over England, and believe me, Norwich is alot nicer than 95% of the scumhole citys and towns i've been too.

No, nothing like that. He was the tournament king.
