Hi clockers (and welcome to Fruitchat!)

The new Nuts game is certainly on the latest ItBox release so any cabinet that has been updated (which should be nearly all of them) will have the new game on the front screen.

I've played it a couple of times. It has elements that are similar to TV Times - (i) you collect a bonus by answering one of each category of question/picture quiz and (ii) the cash game involves randomly* selecting the 'jigsaw pieces' that make up four different magazine covers (* i.e. there seems not to be any skill involved in how the pieces are selected). I didn't really pursue it as it seemed to have the classic behaviour of virtually all new games, namely that £1 was relatively easy to win but there was then no obvious progress to any higher prizes, and that doesn't interest me, but others may well have a different view of the game.

This is one of my new favourite games at the moment. First play i won £3 after only a measly 50p input.

The questions aren't too challenging and some of the actual catagories are laughably easy, namely the picture rounds.

However, playing last saturday i ended up getting to the prize grid at the end, and answering 6 or 7 questions in a row and then had to play up to the grid again (having still won nothing) and then went out after answering a further 3 questions with nothing to show for it.

But more often than not i've had some good luck with this game.

I think the makers presume that the lovely ladies will distract us from the questions
