Tv Quizes to SWP

Post by kingzilla »

TV licensed games seem to be popular with punters but i am surprised that no one has made EGGHEADS into a game, in fact there is probably more shows that could be converted to swp. Every time i have caught the lottery show on Saturdays there seems to be some new sort of quiz show on it.
There seems to be quite a bit of scope.

I agree it's a bit surprising that Eggheads hasn't been made into a game yet - I sort of felt the old Ind:e game Allstars was trying to trade a bit on the Eggheads concept (with the way you had to pick expert players to help you) but I agree a proper Eggheads game would be successful.

how can you be irritated by mister de mooi?
notwithstanding Soetkin Baptist, that is one of the best names ever. and it would fit on the scoreboard.

maybe whoever owns the eggheads branding and/or some of the quizzing folk on it don't want to be associated with SWP.

one which i'd like to see is zelebrity squares, with Bob Monkhouse taking the piss out of bobby davro would be a bonus.
nobody ever wins on those things.

Cool, not sure that is very fair; unless you know all three and can assert that they actually are twits.

I think that Boxer should develop a new game Beatheads-with image of Daphnes head appearing on the punchbag (not requiring much more than a slight tap),finishing with CJ ,although by this stage the punchbag would be hard to hit as it would be ever so oily.Combine it with sound affects ooh its not 'a' or 'b' it must be 'c' ooh really I DIDNT know the answer with smugness all around. It would be a sure fire winner-although the makers would have to recalibrate the high score as it would go through the roof.

Whoops, I shouldn't have bought my point up! :o ops: :D

I remember seeing a (presumably failed) game show that may have converted to the world of SWP quite well. It was hosted by Nicky Campbell of 5Lite and Watchdog 'fame' and involved the player selecting various lighted 'rods' from the floor. I think white ones added to the cash pot and red ones removed from it. There were no questions IIRC (I did only see it once), but I seem to remember thinking at the time that it would at least pass a few minutes in the pub. ;)

We've discussed (3) before Cool, but on (1), CJ is actually a nice guy when you get to know him, although I accept that he takes a bit of getting used to.
