You know it's your lucky day when....

...you find a newly installed gamesnet with Jiggy Bank on. You play the pound game with a 1900 target. You win £40 without breaking a sweat in about six minutes.
Any others? :P

You visit three pubs in a row with a working itbox.

I did find an old Winning Lines game in the most unbelievable state at the weekend. I didn't actually find the Gamebox in question this time as I had played it before a few times and taken the JP at least once but on Saturday it wanted just
240 points for the £1, which meant that I won £1 on the qualifying rounds - first time I've ever seen that - and then took the JP for something like 880 points - ditto.
However the overall state of the 'industry' is absolutely dire:
- machines switched off/out of order
- ItBoxes that don't pay out the money you have actually won - I had one pay out just £13 from a £24 bank, and the rest of the coins didn't appear despite the usual routine of shaking/slot-fingering

/winning something else and hoping they then appeared
- the few decent games mainly burnt everywhere
- shocking new games, particularly on the Gamesnets (more of that elsewhere)
so Properpro is right - something like three working ItBoxes in a row counts as lucky right now.

Think ItBox have bigger things to worry about at the moment to be honest.

I had two ItBoxes, side by side in a Wetherspoons out of central London, non-pay on me on Saturday night - both were clean empty. Reckon someone knows something I don't! Luckily, and unusually for a Wetherspoons, the bar paid my winnings up in cash straight away!

Gamestec have taken over the wetherspoon itboxes and others, so their extinction is premature.More accurate endangered.
