In It To Win It

This is a new game on the Gamesnets. It's based on the Dale Winton Saturday night lottery show on BBC1. It's a straight question and answer game where there are five contestants, one of whom starts in the Prize Zone (or something like that) with the other four in the Red Zone. You have a points target to meet and can choose to either answer a question for one of the contestants in the Prize Zone for points or to answer a question for one of the Red Zone contestants. Getting one of the latter right moves that contestant into the Prize Zone but if you get it wrong it's Game Over.
Once you reach the first points target you can choose to go to the money round where each contestant in the Prize Zone gives you a question worth 50p or to keep going to the next level where the money game questions are worth £1, and so on, with the maximum I assume being to have a £5 question for all 5 contestants in the Prize Zone.
I had a relatively easy game for a £5 win but it then seemed to go completely tight, with lots of spoilers and (I think for the first time in a mainstream game) a choice of 5 answers to pick from rather than 4 or 3. Getting lucky on a spoiler question is in other words now just a 20% shot.
I'll certainly have a good look at this one but early impressions are that it's another in a long list of TV-inspired duds.
