Hi all, lucky me is just about off to Iceland to see our all conquering footballing heroes

buddy, iceland actually is a wonderful place. forget bjork, umlauts, scrambled eggs etc.
the lamb there is exceptional.
really, trust me on this one. they can't export it so it is a purebred and Heavenly taste.

never meant any disrespect to iceland - it IS a wonderful place, i was referring to our national football team though they came good in the end.
anyway of more universal news (or not) THERE ARE NO QUIZ MACHINES IN ICELAND. just thought somebody should clear that up!

Quiz Machines are things I don't think i've seen anywhere in the world bar the UK!
Does anywhere else have them?

Eire has had a few, illegally I suspect, but I've played them there. I'm also told some Australian cities have a version of Itbox.

As previously reported on here I spotted a Dutch version of the titbox which had some familiar fare translated into Dutch and also some bespoke offerings.

I've seen a Megatouch-style machine in Bellinzona, Switzerland (on the motorway services), if you call that a quiz machine...

As per Grecian, I've seen many a megatouch in Brit infested resorts such as Tenerife, the Algarve, Orlando etc etc.
Pretty sure there's at least 6 languages you can touch to play the megatouch including German and Dutch so I'd assume these countries have them.
I doubt they fall into the category of SWP due to the lack of P though.

I've seen a megatouch-style internet linked thing in an Austrian amusement park. Fotherz and I came 4th in Europe on a crossword game.
Also saw an English football trivia standalone in Lithuania, which
somehow we were able to clean up on, despite our somewhat average knowledge of the game.

australia has an itbox clone called the barry. given how thick bruce and sheila are, it might be an worth emigrating. dunno how many units are out there but it was being promoted at ATEI.
