Connect 4

Just wondered what peoples opinions were on this?.
Only seen it in one location in my town centre,is this widespread elsewhere?.I can see this getting plenty of play initially as plenty of people rate themselves at connect 4,or will play for nostalgia reasons.
Managed to blag a £3 win,but i think is a rarity as follow-up plays have resulted in nothing.

Yeah, it's like playing the deep blue chess computer at times. It just corners you in and finds every 100% perfect move for the game set-up, eventually leaving you with 1 disc to cover 2 potential wins....and you lose.

its a brilliant concept- theoretically according to some professor in holland its impossible to lose going first with best play, however Ive never met a connect 4 master.
