I think you're dead right.

They look like they are working off the same bank. I don't bother with the 50p version since it's all about time and motion with me.

I also don't bother going past 2 picks. I haven't seen much benefit in going for 4 just to be given the same money as when I've got 2.

I'd tentatively agree with the single bank theory, based on what I've seen so far. I think that's the case on GamesNet and ItBox versions alike.

I wonder about the one-bank theory - had a few results which suggest that there may, in fact, be two banks.

My uneducated guess is that the ItBox version might well only have one bank but that the Gamesnet version has two. I've no idea if this is possible but it certainly seems the case that the 50p game on the ItBox has no decent picks available if you play it after first taking a good win from the £1 game whereas that doesn't seem to be the case on the Gamesnet version.

In either case this is still a very fine game to have around (for now anyway).

... or possibly ALL games too long! While having a quick Jiggy Bank last night I happened to glance at the adjacent juke box to identify the song that was currently being played by some young beat combo that I couldn't recognise, only to see that either the band or the song (not sure which) was called 'The Curse of Ant and Dec'! I've Googled this and can't find anyone obvious reference to such a band/song so can anyone enlighten me or am I (finally) going mad?!

To prove that there IS indeed a curse the 50p game that I was close to completing gave me a grand total of £2.40 for the de facto maximum of 6 picks *, which I then lost on the True or False questions!

Ha ha! The double entendre was fully intentional. I did in fact propose on here when the game first came out that the phrase 'Having a Jiggy' would be perfect Cockney rhyming slang...

The first time I was offered 2 picks (after the initial target, when obviously it's always 2 picks) I just thought I had found a machine in an unusually good mood. However further investigations - basically I just keep going as long as I have a reasonable set of bonuses - has led to the realisation that there is a defined pattern, namely:

initial target -> 2 picks
reasonable new target -> 1 pick
reasonable new target -> 1 pick
reasonable new target -> 2 picks
very hard new target -> 1 pick

The fifth target is normally around 3,500 above the previous one, say about 12,000. While obviously there's nothing to stop you from keeping going, this signals to me that it's time to collect the 6 picks. You will not surprisingly start to see more spoilers around this stage as well.

At the other end of the scale I saw my first ItBox where Jiggy Bank had been completely 'killed' last night - high targets, poor bonuses, 1 pick only for the Extra Picks bonus, early spoilers - although admittedly I haven't ever checked out the state of one after I've managed to get a big prize or two.

Same here (apart from me). Which is odd given the amount of play that e.g. Monopoly got early on. I'd say Jiggy Bank is surely a game which has the potential to amuse punters? Maybe it's the fact that anyone playing the Jiggy Bank sub-game looks like such a tosser that most normal folk would be put straight off.

It's not very different to the original Saturday Night Takeaway. I would guess that punters think it's the same game once they've had one go. They are thick, you know.

(Although maybe astute enough to know that if Ant & Dec are involved in some 'give me cash and I'll ask you questions' proposition, they understand that it's rigged).
