a friend of mine arrived in a pub at Camberley circa 12'oclock. Went to play said machine when the contents of the hopper were visible in tray(£150). When gave money back over the bar was told somebody had been just playing that and had left the pub.Any idea whats going on?

Very notey, by the sound of it. Most puzzling - if you've got a scam running, why leave the money in the tray like that?

i thought that, however if you are arousing suspiscion it would be better to walk if there are lots of other pubs in the vicinity you can do over. the crooks can make megamoney.

There has been a major scam going on, whoever left was probably so pissed/bored from drinking/'playing' all day he simply forgot to collect the cash!
He will have probably left leaning heavily to one side, weighed down by coins in the pocket he doesn't keep his phone in!!

On a related note, I tried to put a £10 note into one of the old style Paragons the other day (there was nothing else to play within miles being my excuse!). After a couple of abortive attempts - the note was real I hasten to add - the machine alarm sounded and the screen displayed 'Note Fraud - Call Landlord'. I have never seen this error before and it has obviously been created in response to the scams mentioned elsewhere on here. It wouldn't exactly have been very effective in a noisy pub however as after 30 seconds the error screen disappeared and the normal menu came back...

Doesn't this sound more like a forgetful company collector to anybody?
Stranger and similar things have happened. Anyone who wants to know can PM me and i will reveal the story of "the legend of the yellow sack"!!
On a similar theme but this time being scammed by paragons, a word to the wise........ I would warn everyone not to press the bottom left of the screen too quickly after returning to the main menu in order to collect.
Twice now, on the recent download, the game has frozen. Worse still on reboot the machine "forgets" the bank and i haven't been successful in reclaiming what's owed.

yes, i've had this a couple of times too, luckily not for big banks though.
i don't think much of the new paragon menu, they seem to have replaced the enjoyable games with AWPs. i know that they are more varied in what is on any given box but my cash cows follow the prophesy of pharaoh's dream. boo!

The AWPs in Spoons Camberley are often showing "Note Mech Error"
