leisure link took extreme action to stop the Northern monkey getting back to the v51 Itbox he had only half rinsed at lunchtime......

What was all that about NM? I noted that at about 6.30pm when I was catching a bus northwards a lot of the Fleet Street buses had been diverted via the embankment. Security alert or some parade or somesuch? (Good work on the rinsing, btw.)

Well when I went in the newsagent to get some cigs, the bloke said that the Princes (Wills and Harry) were about.
Presume it was in a military capacity as 5 or 6 tanks seemed abit OTT to be royal protection officers

loool...yeah the captain called the sas in....they were on the PD empty and there was an ultra breech of security when 2 players were watching with binoculars from a distance, the captain gave them the office but they didnt listen. they were removed by tanks within minutes. it was rumoured to be the biggest scare since the embbassey seige .
