playing an itbox earlier. had £10 in the bank it paid out £9 but had the IOU screen came up. it said hopper blah blah blah owes £10.

probably an isolated incident but it might be a worry.

not isolated at all happens frequently to me- providing its paid out most winnings mak a rapid dash for the exit.

it was in one of my locals. so i had a word with the publican and explained that it was trying to give me £9 more than i should have had.

i'm not fussed about being £1 down. more worried that A. it kills the machine and B. had i not mentioned it, some chancer would have queered my pitch/pissed in my coffee/deliberately misinterpreted what i said

probably had the right note mech!

I've seen this once or twice before as well.

This happens quite a lot. Have skanked a few extra tenners from gaffers prepared to pay out from the till. Usually just get the normal 'nothing to do with us mate' bollocks.

I wouldnt do this as you are going to lose the moral high ground with a dodgy site- when a machine does owe me & the amount indicated is nore I always tell the truthe.

Had an itbox during the week which didn't pay the 29 owed at all, didn't come up with the usual dreaded "hopper empty" window.
I went into a game and selected menu and still the 29 remained although it offered another collect opportunity.
I gave the machine a little shake and 33 fell out!!

I told the bar staff exactly what happened, debut at the venue and was very keen to play the honest gent.

New one on me though!!

Get to '29' without pressing the collect is asking for trouble. At least one jackpot/two /three or four good wins, how long had you been playing on this one machine?
Very trusting, bad payout is a fact of life for a player.

Still '33' is a good result, hope you are as lucky in future!?!
