Just appeared on our gamesnet, golf game, 5 holes, starting with a jackpot of 40 quid, this is taken down by the amount of the distance from the hole within a certain circle around the pin, my boss got a hole in one on the first hole and took the 40, think if you get a hole in one on any of the holes you take whatever is in the pot, if you end up with no cash left before the fifth hole but have still qualified you get the remaining holes to practise, not played it myself but it does look good, the graphics i mean, looks insanely difficult.

Cool! Although, like the other so-called SWP 'sport' based games, like that pool one which dynamically changes the physics of the baize (beize?) and the ball if you get close to winning anything substantial, no doubt it will 'bloxxor' you from getting 'too good'!
I think I saw this in my local yesterday, but didn't have a pop - over there shortly, so may well have a go.

My god this is difficult - and you only get one shot if you miss! 50p gone in seconds!
It doesn't help that it stitches you up royally on the first hole. Golfers will know what i'm on about. It's about 209 yards i think. Your 3 wood goes 215 yards, 2 iron about 195-200 i think. Logic says use the 3 wood......but there's a big rough patch in front of the green. You can't possibly land it close aiming for the flag with a 3 wood, you need to lay up short and roll it on. Trouble is, the rough prevents this greatly....how the hell can you guesstimate the ball roll through rough? It's mental! Add to this the wind usually has a mind of its own and changes through every compass point as you line up to take it into account. One to avoid i reckon. One good point is the GFX are probably the best ever for a SWP, simply superb. Maybe the minimal chance of winning covers the development costs.

Ploughed £4 through this trying to get the hang of it. Won £6 in the end but I think it was more though luck than judgement.

played this for the first time today and i really liked it. by the last hole i needed a hio so didn't win anything but it is pretty sophisticated for a (can we dare to hope) skill game. those who were good at golden tee will doubtlessly fare better than i did.
i've changed my mind about frogger though. you fellas were right all along.
doesn't help that a two-hand game is on a cabinet which doesn't allow you to rest your pint.

The game has changed, for the worse.
