hell's bells
it is no secret anymore that there is money in this one.
i haven't yet worked out what relevance bells have. but that is beside the point.
about the in-game music: i recognise one as cliff richard's devil woman which is amusing in itself but the other(s?) i couldn't decipher. can anyone enlighten me?

nobody ever wins on those things.
Has anyone JPed this yet? I've reached 15 but that did involve one guess as I was so intent on getting to 15 after a sequence of 10s. Anyway, Sue Denim is right - this game is very generous. I'm not sure it'll last though - at most sites I've seen it's not getting much play, tucked away on the back screen as it is.
The problem of lack of plays isn't really a surprise. This one seems designed to follow the Caveman Capers template very closely, i.e. to pay out one really good prize then to be to all intents and purposes impossible forever after. This is much better than never offering a decent prize, like much of the dross that is out there, but I have the same feeling of missed opportunity as I did with Caveman Capers - if they could have programmed either game to still allow ordinary punters a fair chance at a quid or two even after a big win, both games could have had real longevity and attracted huge plays from the general public, who would I think be attracted by the skill element of the gameplay as long as prizes were occasionally achieved. This is exactly the format that kept Millionaire at the top for so long before the 2006 version destroyed that template.

two things barry berndes:
one. what is that music? it is really bugging me now.
two. playing with my bro over the weekend and he went first, hit a skier for 0.xx and we answered the Q then the computer registered that it was worth £4 (
)
he instantly pressed collect but in retrospect it might have been worth going on, had the bug stayed it would presumably have been easy to get the JP with one decent whack (i.e. 3m+) and if it didn't then we would have only lost £4. the very next game it had righted itself so only a temporary glitch.

It seems to have been killed on all the relatively few machines I get to see. I could easily see it being removed as early as the next release given few ordinary punters will play it if they have no chance of winning even £1. It's a shame but there you go.grecian wrote:anyone still finding that HB has money in?
Are you sure there is some music other than the endlessly repeated, and frankly rather camp, version of Devil Woman? On a rare chance to play an ItBox in a quiet setting recently I couldn't hear any other music being used.sue denim wrote:what is that music? it is really bugging me now.

it was about a horse race. there was some nag called pseudonym which one of the guys on here alerted me to. exeter 15.05 a few days ago.
i put £8 on it at 5/2 (in a five-horse race) and it came second. to a 66-1 outsider called eluvaparty.
so i changed my name for a weak gag in the bookmaker's section.
anyway never mind about my pseudonyms, what is that song?
