Question makers having a laugh

Playing monopoly tonight and got sent to jail.

The 2nd true or false question was something like...

"The rugby player Jonny 'I'm always injured' Wilkinson plays for the Newcastle Falcons?"

Well thats not his official nickname I thought. But true anyway. The next question however was ridiculous

"Tom Cruise is not gay, honest, his many marriages proves this."

Not even a question is it? Well I went for true and got it correct. But what's the deal with these questions. Did they employ loads of students over the summer or what? Any how they made me laugh.

if you can contrive to be sent to jail before the middle range of Qs kick in you do get given ridiculous Qs like this. it is good to see that there are tiers of difficulty across the board, whoever made this game did so very adeptly.
in terms of sophistication it is well above anything else out there.

Sophisticated? You obviously haven't seen any of the lewd humour. Somebody writing these questions has a very strong anal fetish!!! :o

this is not the thread i was looking for but it will do.

played the only gamesnet in the west end today and was asked this:
some irresponsible setter wrote: what is this the Hungarian for? ZUIQ EKAF A SI SIH'T
i speak very basic Hungarian and it doesn't mean a sick horse.

but it is so easy to spot the pathetic subversiveness. so a spoiler which has no basis in fact. great.

Played the football quiz today, the one where you have to stay out of the red zone or else its game over.

Now he's a Celtic season ticket holder and I'm a Rangers season ticket holder so both of us most definitely recognise Aiden McGeady. Except that in two separate games a pic of his crops up saying "who is this?" and he wasnt one of the answers!!

Aaaarghh!!!

Out of interest, did you select true or false?

Fruitchat.com is of course a website hosting a Java chatroom and not a lot else, as opposed to our native fruitchat.co.uk of course..

Ok, just before bedtime here's a real cracker from today's battle:

Who played Caligula in the 1970's BBC drama series "I Claudius"?

I hear you scream John Hurt, do I not??

Yes, he was a choice....... no, he wasn't the answer.

They want Derek Jacobi, sigh..............

Pike

I don't like it up me

and yet another, perhaps more obvious, shocker:

In which spacecraft did Yuri Gagarin go to the moon?

Yes, the moon.

To their credit the answer was Vostock 1!!
