It said "HI X" where X is my real surname...!

I do have quite a few mates who play the machines a bit so could have been of them. My SWP monicker is a common nickname of mine, and everyone knows I play the SWPs, so I wouldn't be surprised if it is a friend. The impressive thing was they scored 88 to my 87 so they were exactly above me. I then scored exactly 90 to respond to them exactly above them, even more impressively. ;-)

No, not at all. Wouldn't say I'm secretive and those on here whom I've met know who my real name, but equally I see no need to publicise it on the forum, like about 95 per cent of users on here...

Also the scores on that C&R were particularly dire and I did not improve things myself- have you 'keyed' it yet?

I agree it could be Hyena and/or one of his partners in crime, yes. I did 'key' it, yes, although only took £5.
