message in a bottle

Post by Istenem »

spotted at lunchtime; new on paragon.

it very neatly illustrates my point about titboxes being moribund.

LL give the public great escape and castrated PSC, GWHL give message in a bottle (very stylish if not groundbreaking) and spinny cash point thing (which is admittedly shit).

also PMP has had a facelift with new categories which are actually well-considered. and was glad to see that WU is not the bastardized version.

i was planning a long lunch but had to get back to the office because all my colleagues are inept.

Indeed it is very stylish. And pays out fuck all, or is ever likely to. I've had my one game for this millenium.

If I want stylish I'll buy a copy of Princess Zelda with my winnings from Pub Quiz.

Not quite. It has one semi-decent prize in it. And the half-dozen shots I've had since then (including getting near 5 figure scores), I've not even sniffed a pound.

say what you will. but if you gave the average punter a straight choice between pub quiz and this he will play this every time.
similarly, the clones of PQ with some graphics element are played more than the original purely for that reason. it seems that you can polish a turd.

we already realise that you are not average QM.
