2 Wins in a row

As i've stated previously, i'm certainly no quiz machine pro/expert/buff player, but i'm fortunate enough to get the occasional £3 or £4 off DOND. What i've noticed is that after winning any amount on DOND (the highest being £8), if i then have a go on Bullseye, then at least 80% of the time i'll get another £2 from this (usually £1 on prize board + £1 on 101 with 3 darts). Of course, it's costing me another £1 for the £2 from bully, but a win is a win.

Has anyone else spotted similar patterns in playing different games after a win?

I normally find you can get a couple of quid out of Bully whether you've played DOND beforehand or not.

Fair comment your eminence, just thought it strange that the frequency was so high, never more than 401 for the prize board.

Of course the post i'm really looking for the someone to say "play the games in this order: x, y, z - and you'll be £'s up", however i seriously doubt such play exists.

And no, before the quick witted amongst you start, there's no quiz machine around my way with games called x, y and z.

If I win £4 off Deal or No Deal, which is rarer and rarer these days I find, then I too find that other quiz games, not just Bullseye. This has less to do with the order you play the games and more due to the fact that you have wandered into The Thicko Arms.

Here's an experiment for you to try. The next time you win on DOND (I don't mean after having put £10 in yourself to win £3, I mean 1st or 2nd game), play a game of 1 vs 100. I almost guarantee you'll win £3.

It sounds to me like this is a case of apophenia i.e. seeing patterns in random events where none really exist:

Interesting, I see a pattern emerging here

This does harp back to the question of whether the game prize pots are linked (or not) in any way.

These days I'm willing to believe they're not.

Perhaps, however that is down to your interpretation.
