Yay!

I got my first ever £20 off a quiz machine today Was in a pub doing my fruit rounds and had a pop on DOND. It must have had loads through it, as in the first £2 i played no games asked for more than 32000 for the endgame. After £4 in, i finally got there!

Needed 27500 for the end game. After a horrible first set which i dealed at 9000, i went through again and had a reasonable board left when i luckily got to the offer stage. Thinking it'd stitch me, i was wrong as it offered 22500! Yes, a cash game at last!

I got offered £4 a couple of times, but kept no dealing as £20 was still there. Got down to the final 2 boxes, which were £7 and £20. Shocked and happy i was guaranteed £7, i didn't think twice about no dealing the crappy £11 it offered me. Opened my box for a lovely £20! Cue congrats from tidy beard, and £20 in my pocket. Happy days!

I've only ever Jackpotted Deal or No Deal once on the £20 variety so well done for that. I've never done it on the £40 version (which is sadly disappearing to make way for the TOTAL DROSS that the Gamesnets are more and more being filled with ) but prizes of £10 and even £20 are not uncommon on that one.

I did have a bizarre DOND game on an ItBox last night - I had to answer no more than five questions in the two qualifying rounds for a target in the low 20,000s as most of the boxes I selected were 'blank' and so I thought I must surely be on for a good prize only for all the big prizes to go early on and to be finally left with 10p and 50p and ... you can guess the rest!
